“God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers.” “She kept you in her womb for 9 months. She fought with death to bring you in this world. She kissed you, hugged you, adored you, in between this you grew up when, she didn’t realize. Today, you are busy in your own world, hardly having any time for her. But she’s still worried about who’d look after you after she’s gone. For her, you’re still a child.”
MOTHER’s DAY is a celebration honouring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. We not only celebrate the simple fact that they gave birth to us, we celebrate for all the selfless acts they performed while raising us. And thus MOTHER’s DAY was celebrated on 17th May 2013 at 4:00PM at our office premises. The celebration started with the warm welcome to the mothers present at the office.
Mrs. Geetha Venkatadri gave a speech regarding her experience as a mother and also regarding important duties of mother. The enthusiasm started when all the employees had to prepare the memento for their beloved mother with the clay which was provided to them within one hour time duration. All of them went back to their childhood for a while during the preparation of clay model. The judges had a tough time to select the best mementos and those best ones were rewarded.
